The First
Faculty of Medicine of Charles University currently offers education in the
following programmes
in English:
Master’s degree in General Medicine
- is a 6-year programme leading to the degree of Medical Doctor (MUDr, Medicinae Universae Doctor in Latin – meaning it combines both Medicine and Surgery). The diploma is recognised throughout the EU, UK ,U.S. as well as most of the world.
Master’s degree
in Dentistry
- is a 5-year programme leading to the MDDr. degree (Medicinae Dentium Doctor), preparing graduates for independent dental practice or further specialisation (maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, clinical dentistry).
Tuition fee for the programmes General Medicine and Dentistry starting in the academic year 2024/2025 is 600,000 CZK/year.
Master’s degree in Addictology
- is a 2-year programme leading to the Mgr. degree, providing a comprehensive training tailored to equip the students with the knowledge and
skills necessary to excel in the field.
Tuition fee for Addictology for the studies starting in the academic year 2024/2025 is set for 290,000 CZK/year.
